Evio Labs Florida, the premier cannabis testing lab in Florida, announced it has received ISO17025 accreditation.  This makes Evio Labs Florida the first fully accredited cannabis testing laboratory in Florida and they intend to set the bar high.  During a recent tour of their Davie, Florida facility I was blown away by the quality of the laboratory that features industry leading testing equipment from Shamadzu.  The equipment they have will undoubtedly ensure patient safety and quality of the Florida medical marijuana products being sold.  Evio Labs is in the process of opening a second laboratory in Gainesville Florida that will be led by Ryan Hurley.  At this time the Gainesville opening is yet to be announced.

The first to market and strategic positioning of laboratories across the state is a sign of the commitment that Evio Labs Florida is bringing to the medical marijuana industry of Florida.  The Florida medical marijuana program is close to releasing rules for analytical testing and pesticide requirements and allows laboratories to operate pending rules.  The Director of the Florida medical marijuana program, Christian Bax, recently released a round of workshops that includes the rules that govern Florida cannabis labs.  To view a complete list of topics, dates and locations click here.
